How to Set Up and Use Email Notifications for Daily Reports
Cloudica™ allows Managers and Owners to receive Daily Reports via email. These reports provide insights into how their managed users spent their workday, what tasks they completed, and which applications they used. To take advantage of this feature, you’ll need to configure the Email Notifications Settings to start receiving daily summaries and individual user reports.
How to Set Up Email Notifications
The Email Notifications Settings enable Managers and Owners to decide what type of reports they wish to receive. Here’s how to set it up:
On the Settings page, click Email Notifications from the left panel.
Note: The Email Notifications Settings page is accessible only by Manager and Owner accounts.
Types of Daily Reports Emails
You can receive two types of Daily Report emails:
Daily Report Summary
User Daily Report
1. Daily Report Summary
The Daily Report Summary provides an overview of all Managed users who were logged in under your supervision. It includes key data, such as:
A Cloudica Dashboard link that takes you directly to the Virtual Workspace.
The Report Date.
The number of logged-in users versus the total number of users managed.
The number of users who have submitted their Daily Reports.
A View on Cloudica link that takes you to the Daily Reports presentation page.
A list of users, showing:
Username
Worked Time and Idle Time
The number of Task Reports submitted, with a link to each user’s Daily Report
How to Enable Daily Report Summary Emails:
In the Email Notifications Settings, toggle the switch for Daily Report Summary to enable this feature.
Click the Save button.
Once enabled, you’ll receive a Daily Report Summary email every day at midnight. If no users logged in during the day, no email will be sent.
2. User Daily Report
With the User Daily Report feature, individual users can send their personal Daily Reports directly to you via email. The email includes:
In the Email Notifications Settings, toggle the switch for User Daily Report.
Select the users from whom you want to receive their Daily Reports via email.
Click the Save button.
Note: Users must manually send their Daily Reports to you through Cloudica™. These reports are not sent automatically, unlike the Daily Report Summary.

Uses of Daily Reports through Email
1. Streamline Monitoring
Receiving Daily Reports via email helps managers easily keep track of their team’s productivity without having to log into Cloudica™ constantly. With a glance at the Daily Report Summary, you can get an overview of the team’s performance and individual contributions.
2. Track Time Management and Efficiency
The Daily Report Summary and User Daily Reports allow you to assess how users manage their time. You can easily identify productive periods as well as idle times and review task completion details to ensure goals are being met.
3. Identify Areas for Improvement
By regularly reviewing reports, you can spot patterns in idle time or overuse of certain applications. This allows your team to receive more informed feedback on how they can improve time management and stay focused on their tasks.
4. Detailed Task Insights
For users who submit detailed Task Reports, you can dig deeper into the applications used, task descriptions, screenshots, and any notes provided. This helps you get a more comprehensive understanding of their workday and identify any potential roadblocks or inefficiencies.
By properly configuring the Email Notifications Settings in Cloudica™, you can stay updated on your team’s daily progress and productivity in a simple, efficient way. Whether through a daily summary or detailed individual reports, these tools make it easier to manage and support your team effectively.
