How to Share Your Data The Share Your Data feature of the Live Feed module allows a user to broadcast his data for other persons to view. The user who can share his data can be a remote user or a manager. Viewers can be anyone with or without a Cloudica™ account. Users can share their feeds privately with other users registered to your company’s Cloudica™ account. It can also be posted as a link that the user can share with password protection, or publicly. In this guide, you will learn how to share your feeds. First, do the following steps:
  • Go to My Timeline in the Live Feed module.
  • Click the Share button.
  • Select the type of shared data from the menu.
Note that the sharer needs to log in to the desktop app in order to share his/her live feed. Types of Shared data
  • Private / Specific people
  • Public / Anyone with a link
  • Password-Protected / Create a password
Private/Specific people When you select “Specific people” from the Share menu options, it is considered a privately shared data. A Private broadcast is only available to users whom the user added to the viewers’ list. Viewers need to be logged in to the Cloudica™ Application Dashboard to view the Shared Data. To share your data to specific people:
  • Click the Share button from the My Timeline.
  • Select “Specific People” from the menu options. A form will appear.
  • Select/deselect the type of data you want to share. (Optional)
  • Select the date/s of the data you want to share. (Optional)
  • Type the email addresses separated by comma or space in the email box. Press Enter or click outside the box to add.
  • Type your message. (Optional)
  • Click the “Share Data” button. 
The users you shared your data with will receive an email with the link to your shared data. The email recipient should open the link and log in to their Cloudica™ account to view your data. Public/Anyone with a link Users can choose this option if they want to share their feeds with their fellow remote users, teammates, or to the public such as on social media or the web.  Anyone with the link can view the Shared Data, even those who do not have Cloudica™ accounts. The user’s data can be viewed directly through the link.  To share your data with the public:
  • Click the Share button from the My Timeline.
  • Select “Anyone with a link” from the menu options. A form will appear.
  • Select/deselect the type of data you want to share. (Optional)
  • Select the date/s of the data you want to share. (Optional)
  • Click the “Share Data” button. A link will be generated once the button is clicked.
  • Copy the link and share it with people.
Once the link is opened on a browser, the viewer will immediately see your shared data. Password-Protected/Create a password The user can choose to share or provide a password-protected data. This option is applicable for both private and public Shared Data.
  • Click the Share button from the My Timeline.
  • Select “Create a password” from the menu options. A form will appear.
  • Create a Login ID and Password.
  • Select/deselect the type of data you want to share. (Optional)
  • Select the date/s of the data you want to share. (Optional)
  • Click the “Share Data” button. A link will be generated once button is clicked.
  • Copy the link and share it with people.
To access a password-protected Shared Data, do the following:
  • Open the link in a browser and it will display a login page.
  • Enter the Login ID and Password provided by the user who shared the data.
In a manager's Virtual Workspace, a globe icon appears in the user’s Last Activity drawer when that user shares his/her data with other Cloudica™ users within their company account or to the public. What do the viewers see in your Shared Data What can the viewers see in the data you share? The Shared Data depends on the feed type and date you selected. It displays these data in Summary, Computer Activity, and Timeline in the dashboard. 
  • HeaderShows the user’s initials, work time radial progress, Username, date, Worked Time, Idle time, Time in, Time out, and the Summary, Computer Activity, and Timeline buttons.
  • SummaryDisplays the latest six snapshots of the user, status messages, the Last Applications with Screenshots, the Computer Activity graphs, and the Productivity Timeline.
  • Computer ActivityDisplays the graphical presentation of the captured data. It has the Application Usage, Application Timeline, and Keystrokes.
  • TimelineThe Productivity Timeline shows the aggregated data of the user for the day.
Check the Computer Activity Quick Guide, and the Productivity Timeline Guide. How to view Shared Data with multiple dates. Previous dates can also be shared with others. The Shared Data page will only display the data of one date at a time.
  • Click the date beside the username. It will display a menu with multiple dates.
  • Click the date you want to view from the menu options.
You can tag and comment on Application Screenshots if you have a Cloudica™ account belonging to the same company. If you are giving feedback from a public view, you have to login to your Cloudica™ account first before you can tag or comment. Read more on our tagging guide and commenting guide. My Shared Data In My Shared Data, you have access to the past and current data you shared with others and the data shared with you. Here, you can see what your viewers were watching. To do this, follow the steps below:
  • Click the User Menu on the upper right corner of the Application Dashboard.
  • Select My Shared Data from the menu options.
