How to Use the User Drawer In User Management, users are represented through the User Data boxes. And when you click a User Data box, the User Drawer opens. It contains user information such as username, email address, full name, role, and many more. To view the User Drawer
  • Select a user.
  • Click the User Data box of the chosen user.
It will open the User Drawer on the left side of the dashboard.  Make use of the Search function to find the User Data box of a Remote User you want to add to the team. Components of the User Drawer Here are the parts of the user drawer:
  • User’s Name Displays the user’s full name. Click to edit this field.
  • Email Shows the email address registered by the user to Cloudica™. This cannot be changed or edited.
  • Role Displays the user’s designated role in the Cloudica™ account. Click this field to change the user’s role.
  • Expand button It lets you expand the drawer.
  • X button Closes the user’s drawer. 
  • Managers Shows the Manager/s of the user.
  • Managed Users This shows the users assigned under your account. It only appears under your own User Drawer. 
  • Teams you set up The team/s you assigned the user to.
  • Other Teams The team/s the other Managers have assigned the user to.  
With the drawer open, you can edit or update some of the user’s details. You can change the user’s role, edit the first and last name, and assign the user to teams. How to edit a user's name
  • Click the User Data to open the drawer. 
  • Click on the username field.
  • Edit or type in the first name.
  • Click the Last Name field.
  • Edit or type in the last name.
  • Click outside the text box to save the changes made.  
How to update a user’s Role
  • Click the User Data to open the drawer. 
  • Click on the user’s role and the drop-down menu will appear.
  • Select a new role.
How to assign a team to a user
  • Click the User Data box of the user you want to assign to a team. 
  • The User Drawer will open. Go to the “Teams you set up” section.
  • Click the (+) Add button.
  • A modal will appear. Click the text box and type the name of the team.  
  • Click the name of the team from the results list below the text box.
  • Click the “Save” button.  
Left Panel Filters When the User Drawer is open, the filters on the left panel of the dashboard are also updated. It will show only the following:
  • Invite Opens the user invitation form.
  • Org Chart Displays the Org Chart of the user showing only the user’s direct links or managers.
  • Network Shows the network diagram of the user.
  • User’s snapshot A photo of the user.
  • Deactivate Account Deactivates the selected user account.
