How to Comment on Timeline Data
Commenting on your own Timeline Data in the Productivity module can be a good way to touch base with your manager. A comment can be a question, clarification, instruction, etc.Commenting on Timeline Data
When you want to leave a comment on a Timeline Data, follow the steps below:
Click the Comment button displayed at the bottom part of the box.
Click the text box.
Type your comment.
Click the Send button or press Enter.
The comment is immediately posted above the text box and your manager/s is notified of the commented data. The Comment Count is also updated to reflect the number of comments posted for that data.Commenting on Individual Data
Each Timeline Data can be viewed on a separate page called Individual Data. You can also leave comments on an Individual Data.
To post a comment on an Individual Data, follow the steps below:
Click the kebab menu on the upper right corner of the Timeline Data.
Click “View”.
Click the text box at the bottom part of the right panel.
Type your comment.
Click the Send button or press Enter.
The comment is posted on the right panel of the Individual Data. The Comment Count shows how many comments are posted on that data. Notifications are also sent to your manager/s and all the users who commented on the same data.Replying to a Comment
Managers and remote users can comment and respond to comments.
To give a response to a comment posted on any of your data, you should:
Click the Notifications button on the header.
Click the comment notification from the list.
Click the Text box at the bottom part of the right panel.
Type your response.
Click the Send button or press Enter.
If you already know which Timeline Data needs a response from you, just do the following:
Click the Comment button displayed at the bottom part of the Timeline Data box. The counter will show how many comments have been posted for that data.
Click the text box.
Type your reply.
Click the Send button or press Enter.
Clicking the Comment Counter will show the comment text box and the posted comments for that data. There you can read the other comments and send your reply.
