How to Utilize the Comment System in Reports
Providing and receiving feedback is essential for improving work quality and fostering a productive work environment. With Cloudica™’s Commenting System, users can leave comments directly on screenshots, tag colleagues for input, and reply to ongoing discussions—all within the Daily Reports Player.
Commenting on a Screenshot
When you comment on a screenshot, the comment is linked to that specific image and appears in the Comment Section of the Daily Reports Player. This ensures clarity and avoids miscommunication.
How to Add a Comment to a Screenshot:
- Open a user’s Daily Report.
- When the screenshot you want to comment on appears, click the comment input box. (The slideshow will pause automatically.)
- Type your comment.
- Click the send button or press Enter.

Mentioning Users in Comments
The Mention feature allows users to tag colleagues in a comment for better communication and collaboration.
How to Mention a User:
- Type "@" in the comment box.
- A list of users will appear—select the person you want to mention. (You can tag a manager or a managed user.)
- Complete your comment and send it.
The mentioned user will receive a notification and can view the Daily Report or specific data they were tagged in.
Replying to Comments
Users can directly respond to a comment in a threaded conversation, making discussions more organized.
How to Reply to a Comment:
- Hover over the comment and click the reply arrow next to it.
- Type your response in the reply box.
- Click send or press Enter.
Replies will appear nested under the original comment, keeping conversations structured.

The commenting system is not limited to Daily Reports—it is also available in other Cloudica™ data modules, allowing for consistent feedback across different work areas.
