How to Use the Network Diagram
The Network Diagram in User Management is a visual tool that shows how users, managers, and teams are interconnected in your organization. It helps Managers quickly understand team structures, reporting lines, and user relationships.
How to Access the Network Diagram
- Go to the left panel of the dashboard.
- Click the “Network” button.
- Use the kebab menu (three vertical dots) to apply filters.
- Click the X button at the top right to close the diagram.
Components of the Network Diagram
- User Circles Represent individual users in the system.
- Team Circles Represent teams.
- Line Connectors Show how users are linked to managers or teams.
- Network Menu A filter menu to customize your view.
- Exit Button Closes the diagram view.
Circle Size and Color Meaning
Circle Size
- Small circles = Users
- Large circles = Teams
Circle Color
- Dark Blue
Account Owner
- Green
Manager
- Light Blue
Remote User
- Black
Teams you created
- Gray
Teams from other accounts in your network
Line Connectors
- Blue Links users to the teams they belong to
- Gray Links users to their managers
How to Navigate the Diagram
- Click and drag the background to move the whole network.
- Click and drag a circle to reposition it manually.
- Scroll your mouse wheel to zoom in or out.
- Hover over a circle to reveal the user’s name or details.
How to Filter the Network Diagram
You can simplify the view using filters in the Network Menu:
Available Filters
- Hide Teams removes all team circles.
- Hide Managers removes all manager circles (green).
- Hide Managed Users removes all remote user circles (light blue).
How to Apply or Remove Filters
- Click the Network Menu (kebab icon) in the top header.
- Select the component you want to hide (e.g., “Hide Teams”).
- To restore a hidden component, open the menu again and click “Show Teams”, “Show Managers”, or “Show Managed Users” as needed.
