How to Use Streams

Streams in the Live Feed module let you view your activities or data in a video format. On the upper right side of the Live Feed dashboard is a kebab menu. This button opens the Streams Menu with the following options: There are two types of Streams:
  • Live Stream Displays the latest or real-time data in a video format.
  • Stream Player Displays the feed data in video format from the first captured data of the day to the latest. The feeds here are not in real-time.

  • Click the Streams button (kebab menu) found at the upper right part of the Live Feed dashboard.
  • Click the "Live Stream" from the menu.

  • Player Shows the Application Screenshots and the snapshots.
  • Live Feed Panel Displays the Applications and Websites, Keystrokes, User Status, Productivity Tagging, Work Time Logs, Login, Disconnection, and Status Messages.
  • Info button Shows information about the current screenshot.
Note that Live Stream does not have playback controls. This means that you cannot stop or pause the player unless you sign out of the Desktop App or change the Monitoring Status to Incognito. Stream Player The Stream Player displays your data in a video player from the first captured data of the day to the last one. The feeds here are not in real-time and the Player is the default view of the feeds for previous or past data. It has playback controls that will let you pause the stream or change its play speed. To open the Stream Player:
  • Click the Streams button (kebab menu) found at the upper right part of the Live Feed dashboard.
  • Click "Stream Player" from the menu.

  • Player Shows the Application Screenshots and the snapshots of the user.
  • Live Feed Panel Displays the Applications and Websites, Keystrokes, User Status, Productivity Tagging, Work Time Logs, Login, Disconnection, and Status Messages.
  • Controls Includes the Play/Pause button, Progress bar, Panel Toggle, Settings, and Mini-player Switch.
  • Info button Found at the upper left corner of the video player. When hovered upon, it shows the username and the Application name of the screenshot displayed on the screen.

  • Play/Pause Button Press this Play button to start playback of the feed video. During playback, press the Pause button to pause the video player.
  • Progress Bar The Progress bar can tell you how much of the video you've watched and how much of it is left. It can also be used to navigate to the time or hour you want to see in the stream. 
  • Panel Toggle The Panel Toggle allows you to maximize the video player and hide the Feed Panel.
  • Settings Clicking Settings displays the playback speed slider. It controls how fast the video plays in the stream. To hide the speed control, just click the Settings button again. 
  • Mini-player Switch When the mini-player is used, the video player is shrunk down to the corner of the browser. It allows you to continue watching while you browse the Cloudica™ modules. The mini-player stays on top of other module dashboards.  
How to filter the Stream Player by date Previous streams can be accessed through the Date Picker. The Date Picker is found at the Navigation section of the header, right above the data module buttons. To use this date filter, follow the steps below: Use the Navigation Buttons
  • Click the left arrow to go to the previous date.
  • Click the right arrow to go to the next date.
Use the Calendar
  • Click the Date Picker button to open the calendar.
  • Click the left arrow to go to the previous month or click the right arrow to go to the next month.  
  • Select a date with blue color.
Note that in the calendar, dates in blue color have data and are clickable. Dates without stored data are displayed in black and are not clickable. Once a date is selected, the Stream Player will automatically play the data for that date. Read more about how to check the data from previous dates. How to use the Mini-player The Mini-player, when enabled, displays a minified player docked to the lower right corner of the Cloudica™ dashboard. The Controls remain the same except for the Mini-player Switch. It’s now changed to an Enlarge button to maximize the Player screen size. The Mini-player allows you to continue watching the stream while you browse the Cloudica™ modules.  To enable the Mini-player, do the following:
  • Hover over the Application Screenshots to reveal the Controls.
  • Click the Mini-player switch button.

  • Hover over the Application Screenshots to reveal the Controls.
  • Click the Enlarge button.
