Using the Application Usage and Application Timeline Together
Using the Application Usage and Application Timeline Together
The Computer Activity module in Cloudica™ works best when you use both the Application Usage Treemap and the Application Timeline side by side. These tools may look different, but they’re connected—and using them together gives you a complete view of how your team is spending time on apps and websites.
Understanding the Connection Between the Two Application Usage shows a visual summary of apps and websites used, with each tile sized by total time spent.Application Timeline shows when and how long each app was used throughout the day.
These two sections interact with each other for smoother, smarter monitoring.

Using User Mode
User Mode helps you focus on who used an app, not just what app was used.
How to Enter User Mode:
Click on an application tile in the Treemap.
Expand the tile.
Click the User Mode button at the top-right corner.
What You’ll See in User Mode:
A list of users who accessed the selected app
Each user’s total time spent and how many times they opened the app
Matching bars in the Application Timeline showing when and how long they used it
Keystroke bars below the app usage for deeper analysis
Hover Interactions in User Mode
Hovering on a user’s tile: Highlights that user’s bar in the timeline.
Hovering on a bar in the timeline: Does not affect the tiles in User Mode.
Note: Some interactive features, such as synchronized highlighting, are limited in User Mode compared to the default view.
