How to Switch Between Accounts on the Cloudica Desktop App

Remote Users may have multiple accounts in Cloudica™ for different roles or companies. For example, a freelancer might be working for two clients, each with separate monitoring setups, or a team member might have distinct roles within the same organization. The Cloudica™ Desktop App makes it easy to switch between accounts depending on which role or organization you need to work with. When to Use Multiple Accounts  You might have more than one Cloudica™ account if: 
  • You're working with multiple companies
  • You manage different departments or roles within one company. 
  • You have both regular and admin access depending on your task. 
How to Log In to Another Account If you need to log into a new or additional account, follow these steps:  681b481d62363GIF - login to another account.gif
  • Run the Cloudica™ Desktop App. 
  • On the login screen, click "Login to another account".
  • Go through the App Permission Setup if prompted (you’ll only need to do this once per new account).
  • Enter your Username, then click Next
  • Open the Cloudica™ Web Dashboard and retrieve your authentication code
  • Enter the authentication code on the Desktop App.
Once logged in, the Desktop App will begin monitoring under this account.  How to Switch Between Accounts  If you’ve already used multiple accounts on your device before, you can easily switch between them:  To switch accounts:  681b48711a196GIF - another account .gif
  • Open the Cloudica™ Desktop App.
  • If you're at the login screen, click "Login to another account" for a new login, — or — Click on the account you’ve previously used from the account list shown on the screen.
  • If you're currently logged in, sign out first by clicking the menu and selecting Signout
  • Then, from the list of previously used accounts, click the one you want to switch to.
