The Productivity Timeline displays each user’s computer activity data, grouped by the hour. These data points appear in boxes called Timeline Data, arranged from the earliest to the latest entries.
Parts of the Timeline
Time Header Labels each group of Timeline Data by the hour the activity occurred.
Timeline Data Displays the actual recorded user activity from the desktop app.
What’s Inside a Timeline Data Box?
Each Timeline Data box shows a summary of a user’s activity within a specific hour. Here's what you’ll see inside:
User’s AvatarDisplays the user’s photo or initials.
User Name Shows the user’s full name or username.
Tag Icons Lets you label the data as Productive, Excellent, Irrelevant, or a Violation.
Tag Count Indicates how many times the data was tagged.
Comment Count Displays the number of comments added.
Screenshot Content Shows screenshots captured during that activity.
Timeline Content Lists the timestamp and the duration the app was used.
Application Content Displays the name of the app.
Menu (Kebab Menu) Offers more options to explore the individual data.
Frequency Indicates how many times the app was opened during that time.
How to Tag Timeline Data
To label a Timeline Data entry with a tag (e.g., Productive, Excellent, Irrelevant, or Violation):
Find the Timeline Data you want to tag.
Click the appropriate tag icon.
The system will apply the tag and automatically send a notification to the user.Learn more about tagging Timeline Data.
How to Post a Comment
You can leave feedback or notes on any Timeline Data. Here's how:
Click the Comment button on the Timeline Data.
Type your message in the text box.
Click Send or press Enter.
Everyone who comments on the same Timeline Data will receive a notification. The comment count will update to reflect the number of messages posted. Learn more about posting comments on Timeline Data.
Navigating with the Timeline Charts
The Timeline Charts on the right side of the dashboard let you filter and jump through the data easily.
To view Timeline Data for a specific user:
Go to the Charts section on the right side of the dashboard.
Find the user’s bar in the Timeline Charts.
Click the gray bar to filter and display only that user’s Timeline Data.
To return to the full view, clear the search input in the header.
To jump to a specific application used by a user:
In the Timeline Charts, locate the user’s timeline bar.
Click the colored bar representing the app.
The system will scroll the middle panel to show the corresponding Timeline Data.
