How to Search for a User
This guide shows you how to quickly find a specific user in the Productivity module.
By default, the dashboard displays data from all logged-in users. To view a specific user’s data, the easiest method is to use the User Search or the Dashboard Application Search Bar.
Using the Search Bar
The User Search is located at the top (header) of the Dashboard Application.
To search for a user:
- Click the search bar.
- Type the user’s name into the input box.
- Matching results will appear in the search results container and the Online Users List.
- Click the user’s name from the search results.
The dashboard will now display only that user’s data in the Timeline and Charts sections.
When you search for a user, the Online Users List will also update to reflect only the matching users, showing their online status and monitoring status.
Searching via the Data Module in the Search Container
You can also access a user’s Productivity data directly from any module:
- Click the Search Bar.
- In the search container, select the Productivity button.
- Type the user’s name.
- Pick the user from the list to open the Productivity dashboard filtered to that user.
Another method:
- Type the user’s first name in the Search Bar.
- Click the Productivity button next to their name in the results.
- Click the user's name to open their Productivity data immediately.
Using the User Box Menu from Virtual Workspace
If you're in the Virtual Workspace dashboard, you can search this way:
- Select the user’s User Data box in the Virtual Workspace.
- Right-click anywhere on the box to open the pop-up menu.
- Choose Browse Productivity from the menu options.
This will take you directly to the user's Productivity dashboard.
Clearing the User Search
To reset the dashboard and view all users again, simply click the back arrow next to the search bar.
