How to Recheck the App’s Permission Settings
Sometimes, during the initial permission setup of the Cloudica™ Desktop App, you might accidentally skip steps or deny certain permissions. This can lead to:
- Missing screenshots or snapshots
- Inactive keyboard/mouse tracking
- Incomplete monitoring data
- Features not working properly
Fortunately, you can easily recheck and correct these settings.
When Should You Recheck Permissions?
You should recheck permissions if you notice any of the following:
- No screenshots or keystroke activity
- App is not recording presence during idle state
- Any part of the monitoring process seems to be failing
Steps to Recheck Permission Settings
- Open the Cloudica™ Desktop App.
- On the Menu Bar, click File.
- Select Permissions.
- Click Recheck Permission Settings.
- Follow the guided permission setup prompts.
- When prompted, enter your username to log in again.
This process will walk you through granting or restoring access to:
- Location
- Camera
- Microphone
- Screen recording
- Keyboard and mouse
- Disk storage
- Application usage (automation)
