How to Use Streams in the Live Feed Module

Streams let you review user activities in a video-style format, making it easier to monitor work patterns and assess daily performance. This feature is especially helpful for team leads, managers, and HR personnel looking to understand how users engage with their tasks throughout the day. Where to Access Streams In the Live Feed module, you’ll find the Streams section above the "My Timeline" area. It includes two blue buttons: 6419068ea4c89Image - types of streams.png 1. Streams Ongoing 2. Streams Ended
  • for recorded feeds from users who have logged out or been disconnected. 
  • Also referred to as the Streams Player.
Each button displays a counter to show the number of available streams. Ongoing Streams (Live Streams Player) What Are Ongoing Streams? These are real-time streams from users currently online and actively using the Cloudica™ Desktop App. The "Streams Ongoing" button only appears when at least one user is online.  641906a164acbGif - how to open ongoing streams opti.gif Also called the Live Streams Player, this view provides a live playback of user activity as it happens.  How to Open Ongoing Streams
  • Click “Streams Ongoing” to launch the live feeds.

  • Player – Shows real-time Application Screenshots and Snapshots. 
  • Live Feed Panel – Displays detailed activities such as:
  • Apps/Websites accessed 
  • Keystrokes 
  • Status updates 
  • Work time logs 
  • Login/Disconnection 
  • Status messages 
  • Live Stream Count – Shows the number of users currently being streamed. 
  • Team Filter – Filter streams by team. 
  • Info Button – Hover to see: 
  • Username 
  • App name from screenshot 
  • Number of tags/comments 
Note: Ongoing Streams (Live Streams Player) do not have playback controls. They reflect what’s happening right now.   • Click “Streams Ended” to launch past feeds.

  • Player – Shows screenshots and snapshots. 
  • Feed Panel – Displays the same detailed activity logs as the Ongoing Stream. 
  • Controls – Includes:
  • Play/Pause button Progress bar 
  • Panel toggle 
  • Settings 
  • Mini-player switch 
  • Date Picker – Select past dates to view user activity. 
  • Team Filter – View data by specific teams. 
  • Info Button – Hover to view user and app details.
How to Use Playback Controls (Streams Player)  641aa4a6c596bImage - parts of the controls.png
  • ▶ Play / ⏸ Pause – Start or pause the playback. 
  • Progress Bar – See playback timeline and click to jump to specific hours. 
  • Panel Toggle – Hide/show the Feed Panel for a larger player view. 
  • Settings – Click to adjust playback speed. 
  • Mini-player Switch – Shrinks the player to the screen corner so you can browse other modules while watching.
Filtering Streams By User
  • Click the Search Bar and type the user's name. 
  • Click the correct user in the search results. 
  • The stream will now display only that user’s activity.
Note: When using the User Search, other filters (team/date) are disabled. To reset, clear the name from the search bar. By Team
  • On the left panel, under “Filter data by team,” click a team name. 
  • Use the Search Box if there are 5 or more teams. 
  • Click the “All” option to reset the filter.

  • Use the Left/Right arrows to navigate dates. 
  • Or click the Date Picker, and:
  • Use the arrows to switch months. 
  • Select a pink-colored date (indicates data is available).
Tip: Dates with no data are shown in black and cannot be clicked.
