How to Search for a User in the Live Feed Dashboard

By default, the Live Feed Dashboard shows data for all logged-in users for the current day. But if you want to view the activity of a specific user, there are several ways to filter the data.

Option 1: Use the User Search Bar

The User Search Bar is located at the top of the dashboard. It’s a quick way to look up a specific user and view only their data in the Live Feed.

To use it:

Click on the Search Bar at the top of the dashboard.
Type the name of the user you're looking for.
A list of matching results will appear.
Click the user's name from the list.

Once selected, the Live Feed will display only that user’s data.

Bonus Tip:

The Online Users List will also update based on your search. This helps you quickly see:

Whether the user is online
Their current Monitoring Status

Option 2: Use the Data Module Buttons in the Search Container

This method is helpful no matter which module you're currently using in the dashboard.

Method A:

Click the Search Bar.
Click the Live Feed button inside the search container.
Type the user’s name.
Select the user from the results.

The dashboard will open the Live Feed module and display the selected user's data.

Method B:

Type the user's first name in the Search bar.
In the search results, click the Live Feed button beside the user's name.
The dashboard will automatically switch to the Live Feed view for that user.

Option 3: Use the User Data Box Menu from the Virtual Workspace

If you're already viewing the Virtual Workspace, you can go directly to a user’s Live Feed from there.

Here’s how:

Find the user’s User Data Box in the workspace.
Right-click on the User Data Box to open the pop-up menu.
Click "Visit Live Feed" from the options.

Clearing the Search Filter

To reset your view and go back to showing all users:

Click the Back Arrow in the Search bar.
