Why Is My Desktop App Showing as Offline or Disconnected?

The Cloudica™ Desktop App captures activity data and relays it to our servers almost instantly. Because this process relies on active communication, any internet disruption will cause the app to show an Offline or Disconnected status. How Offline Handling Works Disconnections During Active Tracking: If your connection drops while you are actively working, the app switches into Offline Mode. Your activity data, work time, and screenshots will continue to be recorded and saved locally on your computer. All saved data will automatically sync to the server once your connection is restored or when the app restarts.    Disconnections During App Launch: If you launch the desktop app without an active or stable internet connection, the app will not run or track computer activity. You must establish a stable connection before initial login and tracking can begin.  Steps to Resolve Disconnection Issues
  • Verify that your device is connected to Wi-Fi or Ethernet and can load websites in a browser.
  • Close and re-open the Cloudica™ Desktop App to re-establish server synchronization.
  • Ensure that your antivirus, firewall, or network proxy is not blocking Cloudica™ background processes.
  • If connection drops persist across all devices, contact your Internet Service Provider to inspect your network stability.
