The Computer Activity module helps you zero in on specific apps or websites that users have accessed. You can use the Application Filter on the left side of the dashboard to quickly find and analyze these tools.
What You’ll Find in the Application Filter
The Application Filter is made up of the following parts:
Applications Button Shows only desktop applications used (this is enabled by default).
Websites Button Displays only the websites users have visited.
Filter ContainerLists all the apps or websites depending on the selected view.
Search Box Helps you search through the list if it's long (shows up when there are 5 or more items).
Inside the filter container, you’ll see:
A list of apps or websites
An “All” option (shows all items)
A “Less than an hour” option (shows apps/sites used for a short time)
How to Filter by Application
Click the Applications button (default).
Scroll through the list and click on the app you want to view. Tip:If there are many apps, use the Search Box to type in the name.
Select the app from the filtered results.
The dashboard will now focus on that app, showing details in:
After you select an app, the view automatically switches to User Mode—so you can see which users used the app, when, and for how long.
How to Use the "Less Than an Hour" Option
Want to check which apps or sites were barely used? Do this:
Click the “Less than an hour” option from the app list.
Browse the loaded items or use the Search Box.
Click on an app or site to view its data.
This option works just like the green “Less than an hour” tile in the treemap and highlights low-usage tools.
How to Filter by Website
Click the Websites button.
Scroll through or use the Search Box to find the website.
Click the website to view data about its usage.
Going Back to Full View
After selecting an app or website:
The filter panel on the left disappears.
To bring it back, click the back button in the top-right corner of the dashboard to exit User Mode.
What Happens When You Filter
When you select an app or website:
